EmeraldCade phpAS V4 Template with Traffic Trade System and Media Activator

EmeraldCade

Going against the usual color schemes of ArcadeCreate's templates, SnowCade has
a white/dark gray color scheme with a gaming feel to it. This template to date
contains the most modifications to the phpAS script than any other template
at Iblob Media. These modifications range from different variations of the home,
game, and browse pages to a random game link to related games on the game page.
Accompanying the extra features is plenty of PRIME ADVERTISEMENT PLACEMENT.
This is one of the best templates available for phpArcadeScript that will MAKE
YOU MONEY!

The template is completely table-less (Full CSS) with the exception of tabular
data. It is XHTML and CSS Valid with the exception of IE6 browser fixes and
the CSS used to create the search and login sections. When you use this template
it is encouraged that you have membership, submit games, and featured games
enabled or else some things may not make sense to your visitors.

Some of the features the template contains are as follows:

Ajax Rating System
We have added in a great and stylish ajax voting system that is displayed on the game play screens directly below the game. This gets your users to interact more with your site and let other users know what they think of this game with the stylish effect that this modification brings to the template.

Dropdown Login and Search
There is a button under the category navigation that when you mouse over it,
it will displays a box where the sections mentioned are placed. Please note
that these menus will not show in front of flash objects but instead behind
them, this normally will only affect the Click-to-Play version of the game page.

Quick Play
The Quick Play section has been improved. Instead of the dropdown menu box it
is now a scrollable div. All games are listed in a small iframe-like box that
has a scrollbar allowing you to scroll through the game list. This helps prevent
some browsers from showing the drop down box outside of the visitors view as
sometimes can happen. You will also notice a Play Random Game link directly
above the quick play list. It does exactly what you think.

Search Engine Optimized (SEO) Links
SnowCade expands the amount of SEO links available. There are still some links
that are not SEO, however they also do not need to be as they relate to information
that is only shown to members such as personal messages.

Warning Bars
SnowCade features two special warning bars. The first one has a message stating
that the user should either login or register with the site. It goes away once
the user logs in. The second message lets the user know that their browser does
not support javascript or that it is disabled and tells them to enable it.

Keywords
Remember those keywords that you type out when you add a game to your website?
If you didnt know, they are for search engines. Well now they are also for your
visitors! These keywords are now displayed on the game page under the thumbnail.
They each are links to a search using that keyword as the search term. This
allows the visitor to easily view games related to that keyword.

PM User From Their Profile
This modification allows you to PM (Personal Message) a user right from their
profile. Instead of having to remember their username and type it in, now you
just click a link! (This modification was created by Bass360 from the phpAS
forums.)

Related Games
On the game page there is a section on the bottom that displays a few games
that are related (in the same category) to the game the user is playing. (This
modification was created by Rod_Snyder from the phpAS forums.)

SnowCade, unlike templates from other providers, gives you flexibility in how
you use it by providing different variations of the home, browse and game pages.
All three pages come with the classic look which resembles the default layout
of phpAS along with other variations.

Home Page - Classic Layout
This layout most resembles the default layout of phpAS. With this one you will
gain the best ad placements this layout has to offer! The ads are shown in-between
the categories alternating between the left side and the right side. The ad
spots fit 300x250 pixel ads and will show a maximum of three times (any more
is bad for the site). If you do not wish to use ads in this way then there is
also a version of this layout that does not have the advertisements included.

Home Page - Thumbnails
This layout only shows the thumbnails and rating for the games. When you mouse
over the thumbnail the rating is replaced with a play game button and the game
title is shown on top of the thumbnail.

Home Page - Titles
With this layout only the games title is shown and nothing else.

Browse Page - Classic Layout
This layout most resembles the default layout of phpAS.

title is shown on top of the thumbnail.

Game Page - Click-to-Play
When you click a link to a game you are first brought to the game page where
the title, description, instructions, comments, etc. is located. Then in order
to actually start playing the game you have to click PLAY GAME on the top of
the page which brings you to another page, the play game page, where just the
game title and game file is shown. This allows the user to be able to read the
full description of the game, and other information without having the game
start loading so that they can see if they truly want to play it.

Comprehensive Traffic Trading System:

• Traffic Statistics History
• Traffic Stats including trade productivity, click productivity, unique hits in/out and raw hits in/out, etc...

 Media Activation System from ArcadeSiteBuilder:

• Complete control from your Admin to configure the Media Activator: you choose how many times a day to activate 1,2, or 3 times a day.  Choose your settings for how well you want to train the Search Engines to visit.
• You can turn the activator on and off.
• Activator turns itself off automatically if no more Inactive games in your inventory.
• Automatically updates sitemap and pings google each time the Activator processes.
• You set controls for how many files to activate each time. 1 - 10 files at a time.
  
• Inserts date added into your games as they are being activated.
• Sitemap generator forms urls for your site correctly.
• Creates a new reserved game status for "Do Not Activate" so that you can keep a title on your site and it will not get activated.
• Displays the Number Of inactive games in your inventory.
